Accessibility
-
Edmonds Pride is dedicated to ensuring our events are accessible to our community, as everyone should be able to enjoy Pride! We have worked with a local accessibility advocate and used our own lived experiences as disabled board members to inform our planning for this year.
Below you can find a map with important accessibility information, seating options, and information on ASL interpreters! -
The Edmonds Civic Center Playfield is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and paved pathways throughout the park (marked on map below).
The stage seating is on the flat grass area marked on the map, there is space set aside for folks using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
Restrooms are single stall, gender neutral, and ADA compliant. The doors are heavy, if you need assistance find anyone with a volunteer or staff pin, or go to the Pride Info Booth (marked on map) and someone there can help you.
-
Chairs will be provided in front of the stage for those that need it. If you do not need a chair we ask that you please leave that seat for someone who requires it.
We encourage attendees to bring their own cushions, chairs, blankets, or anything else they need to be comfortable during the event as long as it does not obstruct other attendees from viewing or accessing the stage.
-
If you have any questions, concerns, feedback or think you will need additional accommodations at the event please reach out to our director Rowan Soiset at rowan@edmondspride.net and allow at least 48 hours for a response.
