Edmonds Pride Festival Accessibility Information

Edmonds Pride is Dedicated to making sure our events are accessible to our community, as everyone should be able to enjoy Pride! We have worked with a local accessibility advocate and used our own lived experiences as disabled board members to inform our planning for this year.

Below you can find a map with important accessibility information, seating options, and other details regarding accessability below! If you have any questions, concerns, feedback, or think you will need additional accommodations at the event, please reach out to our director Rowan Soiset at rowan@edmondspride.net and allow at least 48 hours for a response.

If you need assitance the day of the event please find one of our volunteers wearing a yellow "Volunteer" pin or a blue "Staff" pin, or go to the pride information booth. We are happy to help!

Wheelchair Accessibility

  • The Edmonds Civic Center Playfield is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and paved pathways throughout the park (marked on map)
  • The stage seating is on the flat grass area marked on the map, there is space set aside for folks using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
  • Restrooms are single stall, gender neutral, and ADA compliant. The doors are heavy, if you need assistance find anyone with a volunteer or staff pin, or go to the Pride Info Booth (marked on map) and someone there can help you.

Seating

  • Chairs will be provided in the accessible seating area (marked on map) in front of the stage. If you do not need a chair provided we ask that you please leave that seat for someone who needs it.
  • We encourage attendees to bring their own cushions, chairs, blankets, or anything else they need to be comfortable during the event as long as it does not obstruct other attendees from viewing or accessing the stage.
